Tin Opener was a very simple work, made using a sealed metal food tin, and all the wrong tools from the kitchen.
Throughout the film, Bunn appears dressed in a simple t-shirt, with the upper part of his face out of shot, like a cross between Jackson Pollock and a youtube strip tease.
At the end of the film, the tin is eventually opened.
"At the end of the world, after the apocalypse, there are always canned goods.
But even on a good day, it is almost impossible to find a tin opener.
In art, there are all sorts of wrong tools, in all sorts of rooms, including kitchens.
That's why this work is so moving.
When that juice runs out at the end, I feel like everything I have ever made makes sense." User25784
